Used cigar bands for project?

Hey yall,

I hope this is the right section for this, I'm going to start a project where I'm going to make straight razor scales with a cigar theme. I wanted to get old cigar bands and wrap them around some old scales then glaze them in epoxy resin then buff them up. I wanted Opus x, Cohiba, Romeo y Julieta and anything like that! Im going to make a set with all the same bands then another set with different brands. You would simply have to put the bands in a normal envelope and male them like a letter. Just PM me if you would want me to cover the stamp charges and I'll give you my contact info. As soon as I finish my first set of scales and pin them up on a razor I'll post up a picture in this thread! Thanks a lot!

EDIT NOTE: just FYI this is for my personal collection and will not be selling these for a profit.
 
Nice. I'm still saving my bands for either a Telecaster-style guitar body or the top of the bar downstairs. Havent' decided which, yet. Be sure to post pics when you finish your projects!

Sure will, I have one set of scales that I am about to start on once I can get a sufficient amount of bands. I'm looking for another set then I'll start!
