What's the most expensive beer you've ever bought. Mine was a Fuller 2007 anniversary for 11$ it was ok... I haven't bought anymore.

Mine was an Allagash something something Anniversary Ale at like $18 pre-tax. Was lovely.

I spent $20 in a Cascade Apricot Ale. If you factor in the trip to get the beer the Dark Lord is the most expensive beer for me $15 a bottle and had to drive from Mississippi to Chicago.

Bell's Barrel Aged Batch 9000 - $26.50 plus tax

Had I gotten the chance at Dark Lord last year, I would have bought a barrel aged bottle for $50 and not thought twice about it.

The most expensive bottle I bought would be a special edition Unibroue for the 400th of Québec city. It was about 12-15 bucks if I remember correctly.

Mine would be a bottle of Old Rasputin (the barrel-aged XV), it was $21/bottle before all the California BS taxes.

This years batch of "The Abyss" is $13.00 a bomber. But, I bought a lot of 'em...... :p

Eclipse 50/50 - Elijah Craig 18 Year Barrel Aged Stout....$29.99 for one bomber. Will never pay for hype again. It was delicious...but I've had much cheaper be just as delicious, that I can also drink in quantity!

Delirium Nocturnum and Sam Adams Chocolate Bock were both about $16 per liter, as I recall. And both very, very much worth it!

The Delirium Nocturnum is still my favorite "fancy" beer, and the Chocolate Bock was just incredible. I sure wish Sam would put that one out more often. :(

Allagash Odyssey $20/bottle. My beer SS sent a bottle to me and it was great so I had to get some. I picked up 2 bottles today.

Bruery Fruet at about $30 a bottle. The Firestone Walker limited releases can get pricey as well but I think they max out around $25. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase more if given the chance for either one.
