I'm sort of confused as to who is up as well. Let's give this another day and if no response from anyone, then I'll work on a sampler for you.

You should be excited... I'm getting ready to receive one of these trades for the second or third time around here and I have yet to be disappointed. I have no doubt in my mind that whoever you get is going to blow your socks off with a great selection.

Please keep in mind that there is a limit of 2 of these newbie trades per person, as these are done from the kindness and generosity of those senior members involved to put one together for you.

Completely understood, I believe this is only the second I've done and am simply doing it this time to rebuild my credibility on the forums due to an extended hiatus.

ETA: I had to go WAY back and check to make sure, because I prefer to not step on any toes... according to anything I could find this will indeed be only my second time.

Currently working out a deal with ilikefishes. I'd definitely be open to meeting up for the exchange. I am excited to see that there are others from CO here on CP as well, and would love to see a Colorado herf be put together. We'll have to make it happen. Maybe at least meet up at the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival.
 
Being since I'm newer to the forum I'll understand if no one jumps all over my request.

I'm also open to recommendations and I'll take it from there.

I usually go for medium to full bodied smokes. Fuller bodied when I pair

Typically you PM the next person in line and work out a deal. It has always been considered poor form to ask for Cubans and at one point was in the rules saying not to ask for them or expect them but that you may receive them at the generosity of the FOG who is working out a trade with you.

The reason you are probably not getting traction is a lot of the FOG's involved with this probably don't check the board daily but do get email notifications for PM's sent.

Try PMing the next person in line. If it's not clear it would be the person after ilikefishes as Christian is working on a deal with him. That would put drunkfish3 up and as the person you would contact.

Hope that helps clear some of that up for you. These transactions are a lot of fun. I did one with theorangeman when I came to this forum.

Thanks for the heads up Napa! I'm not trying to be a rule breaker. Just didn't know if special occasions warranted an exception.

If you are looking for something specific post it in the BST forum as looking to buy. You might find you have more people looking at that than this thread.

True if you don't meet the requirements to post one there, you shouldn't be asking for one here either. You'd need to read the rules for the BST forum to know for sure. Considering you have only been here for a couple months, it's considered bad form to ask for Cubans or Cuban sources as this info typically comes from being a contributing member of the forum after some time.
