Really? I have never been to a five guys and has been stingy and fries. That’s why I always order a small, because whenever I get my order half the bags full of french fries. Can you imagine what would happen if I ordered a large! The bag would look like sideshow Bob’s hair.

Last time I was there , only a cup full , nothing extra in bag
 
I like five guys but don’t go often. I remember when they first showed up around here and they were the latest thing. But after awhile the quality went down, and it was just another place.

We have a telway a few miles away and while I don’t go there often either, I’d rather their burger, fries and onion rings than any other place around. It’s often the last stop on the way home from any kind of concert or sporting event downtown.

Never heard of Telway, assuming it's a chain? 5 Guys here are great for what they are.

It probably used to be a chain, at least here in Michigan. I really only know of the one, but there are a bunch of similar looking buildings, throughout the area, all that make their own hamburgers.

It’s a precursor to the White Castle slider, though they are a little bigger. Much more freshly made and taste a whole hell of a lot better than White Castle.

But ya, your not going to find a website or anything. A cursory search on the internet turned up one more on Michigan avenue, one I’ve never been to. That’s about as chain as they get lol.

I'll add it to my list for next time I'm out there. It's been way too long really. Midwest golf trip sounds fun, but if I'm going I want to see some football games too. Decisions decisions

Let me know when you make it out this way. There are times where football and golf exists. I like both, and I’m pretty terrible at both. Fun times to be had!
