Nothing like rearranging to make room for new additions and consolidating a bit. I am very pleased with the Collection as it sits.

Time to start smoking more of these Davidoff!

Made some room by passing along my Liga Privada Collection, along with a couple trades and additional sales to close friends here in town.

I had the Colorado Claro Double R in the “Overflow” section. I took them out of their box and they stacked nicely in the bottom of the CAO Humidor. I moved the 1502 XO to the top shelf to fill in the space the Liga left.

My recent Davidoff trade went into the LE/Exclusive drawer in the Davidoff Humidor.

While I should wait for the Hauls to come in next week, I had everyone out and about mingling, so why not take a couple pictures of the after party!

I revisited the LE 2022 Discovery LE in July and it didn’t have the same effect it did when I smoked it fresh out of the Humidor when it released. The Davidoff must/musk def took front row after a year and change resting. I’m curious to see what an additional 3-5 years will do. I’d like to see the sweetness come back, but I’m not sure with all the different tobacco how it will all meld together.
It leaned more towards the Churchill blend flavor wise for me.

How did you like it?!

It was an LE stick back in 2018 using Florida Sun Grown tobacco from Jeff Borysiewicz’s farms.

The blend was unique and used some different tobacco alongside the FSG that didn’t seem to “wow” people that much when it was released. There’s a funky sweetness now that makes it great smoke, but I can see how those flavors may have been too prominent when the cigar was fresh, and perhaps “fought” each other for palatable prominence.

I spoke with Paul “The Davidoff Guy” Patel about it a little bit when I first discovered the cigar. That was about a year and a half ago, he said he had two boxes still and was one of the worst Davidoff cigars he’s ever had!

There is a lot going on, and you’re a busy man BUILDING a humidor while over here shuffle all my fancy sticks around, taking pictures!

Thank you my friend 🙏🏻 Also, the MD wasn’t lonely for long! Joined some others in the ashtray last week.

Still some things to take care of before we go, but I’m excited!
