Don't come through Porterville CA. if you're weak. He was a wimp. I deal with these MF on the daily. LOL. I didn't go because I'm not a fan. He showed me why again.
😆

So... since I'm smoking and googling. I see that Carlos was a joke stealer. I'm not sure I'm onboard with that term. I kind of look at it like songs. Some bands cover other bands stuff. I mean I get it if the opening band did headliners song before they came on.... (which is what they say Carlos did too) but ... yeah. I still think Carlos was FAF.
So.... now I'm going down the comedian joke thief rabbit hole. Bad Dawg!!! 😉

Wasn't he called out years ago for stealing other peoples' work and using it as his own?
Yeah... I just found that out. Joe Rogan called him out. LOL. It's pretty crazy. I still think Ned... Carlos's real name... was hilarious.

Hmmmmm... I understand your intent, and it somewhat makes sense in that context. I don't necessarily see it in the same light, though. When a band covers someone else's material, it is done so out of admiration for the song, itself, in one degree or another and the original songwriters are credited and compensated appropriately. That is, unless, the band is outright trying to steal the material and present it as their own original song; material imagined, written, developed, recorded, and presented to the public all from said band's own noggin. In that case, the offender deserves to be blasted for it, wouldn't you agree?

In this case, CM was outright using other peoples' comedy material as his own creation and attempting to get away with it. That's not really cool.

What jokes did he steal and from whom?

🤣
After a quick search, he was the one who complained on Howard Stern's show. Wikipedia lists Lopez along with Bill Cosby, Bob Levy, Bobby Lee, and Ari Shaffir.
I'll have to look at the videos, see the dates and .... 😉
