Unusually cool. Awoke to 60 degrees yesterday morning, and it topped out at 75 degrees. It's 62 degrees here this morning.

We're awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Beryl here on the Gulf Coast. 
Sunny, clear & HOT right now though. Landfall is expected tomorrow morning, with heavy rains from the outer bands arriving overnight. Looks like it's going to miss me by a wide swath even though we're in the projected pathways zone.
These storms tend to go north of here to Galveston & Houston, or south to Brownsville & Matamoros.

I knew I;25 was going to be working in the basement so I didn't turn on the AC this morning. Just coming up for a late lunch and it is 88 in the living room. Back downstairs for about 2 more hous, it might hit 90 in the house.
