Today's Smoke 2026

Oliva Saisoon 2011
These were marketed as limited production - probably for lack of takers. Better than the 2009 but not good. Yard gar at best.

EPC Black Swan
Stephen had better luck than I did. Bitter earth and burnt toast. Bad with no signs of getting better. Quit after a third. 4 mos of rest should have been enough?

Puro Desnudo N7 Ninfa
Toast, oak, aromatic spice and orange zest. Smooth. Cream, graham cracker and raisin sweetness. Sourdough and dried fruit. Finished with spices and orange zest. Damn fine gentleman’s smoke.

Had a very productive day that ended in a long video interview that seems like it went quite well. Time will tell, but I'm hopeful. Celebrating and unwinding with my girl Ana and a martini in a terribly inappropriate glass. Purists, avert your eyes.

Update: realized after looking at this photo for a few seconds that the garnish was missing. An olive was added shortly thereafter.

Diesel Unlimited Maduro (AJF)
Red pepper and earth to start transitioning to leather, spice and cocoa. Floral notes, dried fruit, creaminess, cedar and spice. Linear afterwards but decent. Medium/full with perfect construction. I’m looking to clear out space for new arrivals and expected not to like this but after a few months of rest it’s pretty good. Smoked at 102 degrees with 3 fans blasting…August may find me hitting the lounges.
