SP Maduro Farm Roll for me and El Rey del Mundo Oscuro for my son. Two good budget sticks. The SP was earthy with decent spice but was ROTT and needs more time. The ERDM had a perfect draw and great spice - amazing for 7 bucks.

Found a lovely spot to smoke on a day trip to Montreal at Chez Alexandre. I figured there would be more places to smoke downtown, but apparently not.

‘07 RA Gran Robusto Benelux RE 6 1/8 X 50 - love a long Robustos! I believe the NC world calls them toros. Sublime RA spice throughout. Brilliant to the nub. This is a special cigar now at near 20 years old. Almost as good as the superlative RA 898 - RIP. It is only its corpulence holding it back methinks. Two hours.

Don't have much time tonite, need to leave in a bit to pick my son up from his Scouts National Jamboree trip, plus it's going to rain later.

Oddly tight draw at first but I opened it up a bit with a toothpick and cut a bit more off the top and it's behaving.

Hopefully better weather tomorrow for a longer stick and a drink or two.
