The shop I hang out at is having an upcoming Ashton event which is worth checking out. Friday May 5th from 5 pm to 8pm will be the "Ashton Taste of Excellence"

This event is a great new concept in cigar events, centered around the fantastic Ashton Classic Sovereign. The cigar will be paired with Balvenie 12 Double Wood Single Malt Scotch. With the pairing you the customer will be able to experience how food and drink influence the complexity of your cigar. You will get a complementary Ashton Classic Sovereign cigar and be able to get an extra discount on Ashton cigars the night of the event, plus there will be raffle prizes and other refreshments. This is a once in a lifetime event and is extremely limited you must sign up in advance and it will sell out quickly.

My understanding from the shop owner this event is free. I've signed up, and I hope to see other CPers there...
