Just how long you've been around.

I saw Joan and the Runaways and now this article says she's 47. Still looking good though :thumbs:
 
I remember the Runaways well. Hello Donnas...see it was done, and done better decades ago! But honestly, I figgered ol Joan to be at least in her mid 50's these days. :laugh: Jesus, have you seen Deborah Harry/Blondie lately?
 
I saw Debbie at the HFStival in DC a few years ago. She didn't hold up as well as Joan IMO.
 
Way back when, some 20 odd years ago, when one of the Runaways was leaving the group they asked my wife to join the group. At the time, she didn't think it would be a good idea to be jumping around on stage in just her underware :whistling:

I read the article this morning and I think she is your age AVB :whistling: I will say she looks better than you do ;)

I saw her and the Blackhearts open for THE WHO (followed by the Clash) at JFK Stadium back in the 80s

Now that brings back memories of a well (miss) spent youth! :thumbs:
 
It's just over 27 years ago now that they broke up. Jumping around in underware can be a good thing. :rolleyes:

Joan Jett is playing a free show in july at summerfest, as for me a little before my time, although it sucks being 20, you see all these little kids you remember going to collage so you feel kinda old and then you realize u cant even drink yet so you feel young again.

Funny, I seem to spend every day this year realizing since I'll be hitting 40 at the end of the year.

So, if you don't mind me asking which is harder, 40 or 50 or at a certain point does it not matter any more? :laugh:
 
40 was a snap. I could still pass the Marine corps fitness test. 55 is the bitch. I can't get out of my own way. Have to get up to pee in the middle of the nite. And I rarely pass up a restroom anymore. there's more, but I don't want to depress you.
