1st Annual CigarPass Beach Party

Since there are quite a few CPers from So Cal, I've been tossing around the idea of having a CigarPass Beach Party. Who would be interested? We would probably choose Huntington or Manhatten Beach.

Seadub is looking into which beaches allow cigar smoking, if any.

Just thought I'd get some feedback on what you guys think.

Yeah, they passed a law last year which prohibits smoking on the beach in Santa Monica. We're looking into seeing which beaches allow smoking, if any. I'm sure we'll figure something out.

Doesn't the govenor of California smoke cigars? Why they passing all these anti-smoking laws?

Gray Davis was our previous governor who was kicked out of office. Some of the bills/laws he was trying to pass were beyond ridiculous. So Arnold was voted into office. The anti-smoking laws were passed before Arnold arrived.

It looks like as long as we stay away from Santa Monica and Huntington Beach we'll be fine. There are plenty of other beaches in So Cal.

I was just in Santa Monica last week. On two separate occasions, I lit up on the beach. I didn't see any signage. :whistling:
