Ya know, I don't think I will ever eat another KK donut again. I have a buddy who installed a fuel kit in his diesel truck so it will now run on vegetable oil. He went around to some resturants to see if he could dispose of thier old vegetable oil for them to turn it into fuel. Well, it seems that KK never changes out their oil. Apparently, they just keep dumping new oil in. The process of making those dognuts soaks up and burns off enough of the oil to never need to change it; they just keep adding more every couple weeks. So, every dognut it just a sponge for that oil.... heartattach just waiting to happen. ??? ??? I think I'll pass.
 
well hey... I thought this was in regards to flavor appeal. Ill be the first to put off unhealthy foods (ok maybe not the first) but I gotta stay in shape for track
 
I'm in agreement that the iced lattes are junk. I've had one and thats all that was needed to deter me from ever getting that again. Having said that, however, there are plenty of amazing caffeinated beverages that are my favorites from DD. Their regular coffee is creamy (almost buttery, if its possible) and has the most delicious less acidic sensation to these tastebuds. Those DD that are opened up in tandem with Baskin Robbins also make an incredible blast (mocha cappucino, turtle, etc...) which includes copious amounts of icecream with just the right blend of coffee to send these taste buds over the edge.

As for your second point, I too agree heartily! I love summers for that reason alone! Plus, all those dents on my bumper where I've ran into things is testament to how well a side mirror can make things look bigger than they are!! Badda bing! :cool:

I would love to find one of these DD/Baskin Robbins combos. I don't think I've ever actually seen a Baskin Robbins though, I thought they were just some non-existent pop culture reference, kind of like Sonic. ??? Those drinks do sound good, I think I'll go home and experiment with some vanilla ice cream and my blender. I may have to substitute Kaluha for the coffee though. :whistling:

edit: Wait a minute, perhaps I've seen a Baskin Robbins on the NJ Turnpike or the Garden State?

My friend,
If you are ever in the Western NY area (Buffalo Ny and its surround area) you will see MANY DD/Baskin Robbins establishments. Do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and get one of those Cappucino Blasts (they come in small and large). You will never have a drink as delicious as this!

Being a diehard Buffalo Bills fan, one day I will make that pilgrimage and enjoy said drink. ;)

Baskin Robbins Coffee is CRAP. I guess its a little better than Starbucks which is at the bottom of the barrel. :laugh: Only iced coffee I enjoy is a Iced Mocha. Anything else iced, I will pass on.
