Anyone who would spend this much on an Opus doesn't know much about cigars, and probably doesn't even fully appreciate the Opus. It's all about having a "rare cigar". I wonder what these guys would pay for a Cuban!

A few months ago I bought a box of Opus, at around $15/stick from a retailer!

People are plain dumb sometimes.

That's just flat out sad that guys are that clueless. Almost makes me want to shed a tear.
 
I find this whole phenomena of CBID to be quite odd. If you read the posts in the user forums, it's clear that quite a few people on there post much more than they can back up. The "bidding" on the site is akin to monkeys running a zoo. I can't understand the logic of someone paying $30 for an opus #5, but not bidding more than $40 for an opus A? Now, people need to get a morguage for a regular release Oppie in a pretty box.

Then again, if not for C-Bid, where would I find my Fat Cat's :thumbs:
 
People who bid that much for an Opus X must not be close to anywhere to otherwise get one.

I love C-Bid for Rocky Patel 90s & 92s, Dark Knights--works out so much cheaper than buying from local with the taxes the way they are now. I've gotten some great deals there, but some of those premium singles go for crazy prices.
