Hello all, I have been looking for a Schild Estate Shiraz Barossa 2004 for several months now, and to my dismay, the only place I can find it is in Australia at the vineyard, and they will not ship outside of the country.

Has anyone seen this wine anywhere?? If so, please let me know where.

Can you get it shipped in from out of state? It's not a problem here in Missouri, don't know about other states though.

If so, I've seen it on the internet in stock.

I spoke with K&L, and they have the 96 point Shiraz in stock. However, they will only ship to Ohio by a freight forwarder, and by the case only. Since they only have 4 bottles of the Schild left, makes a case a bit impossible .

This wine was recently given a 96 from WS. Because of the rating and low MSRP you won't be finding it readily available anywhere.

Note that the wine linked from K&L Wines is the sparkling shiraz, not the 96 rated shiraz.

If you REALLY want it, you can find it on winecommune, but at hugely inflated prices ($75):

I read about this wine some time ago, and it almost seems to never have existed. I will have to keep an eye out on WineCommune and see if I can grab on for a bit over retail. I can not see paying a 200% mark up in hopes the wine is as good as what is written about it.

Anybody has one, I will trade some Opus for it :D.
