I am stuck in Philly, normally I don't bring smokes with me to certain hotels, but they switced hotels today. The one I am in has a deck outside, what a perfect day for a smoke. DAMN!!!! Well I will have to go to Holt's for sure and bring one back.

Enough ranting...

Enjoy your day.

I just order some Don Pepin cigars from Holt's after Doc got me hooked on some. I think I'll dig around my humidor and see if I have any Tatuaje left from the sampler I got from them a few months back.

It should make for a great birthday smoke, and after a long day at campus I need one.

Take ol' Doc's advice. Any cigar made by that guy Don Pepin suck. Don't waste your money. ;)

Don Pepin cigars are made with corojo and criollo tobacco exclusivly. If they are over humidified they will taste as you discribe. They need to be kept at below 65% humidity to be at their best. Corojo is like a sponge, and at 70% humidity will absorb too much water.
