Tonight was "Date Night" for my GF and I. We went to this real swanky joint called the Ambrosia for dinner before we went to a Van Halen tribute show downstairs from the restaurant. This restaurant was fantastic in every way. The coolest part of this place was that it had a large dining/cigar room. Set up like a very fine dining room with 9 3000 ct humidors lining the room. There was also big fancy case to hold a real nice selection of Cognacs, scotches and bourons. This place was totally 1st class all the way. As I sat there and smoked a Davidoff Millenium Robusto that I picked from their selection I noticed a big interesting box of rare goodies in one of the other humidors. Needless to say, I managed to strike a great deal on the box. I explained to them that I am a collector and must have this box and cigars for my collection. There are a few cigars missing but it is mostly intact. The bottom 3 drawers are empty and there are 2 other empty drawers. I know what I paid but do not really know the value of these cigars. Anybody know what a box like this is worth?

150 PARTAGAS 150th Ramon Y Ramon Cigar Giftset

These cigars were created in the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Partagas brand. These cigars were part of a one time release in 1995, only 1 million were rolled using an 18 year old Cameroon wrapper, found accidentally in a Madrid warehouse! As a tribute to Ramon Cifuentes and son, Ramon Cifuentes, Partagas is releasing a year 2000 mulit-drawer humidor set.

This set includes:

50- PARTAGAS 150 Cigars: 23 Year Old Wrapper in various sizes

100- RAMON y RAMON 2000 Cigars- BRAND NEW Release in various sizes

18 Drawer PARTAGAS 150 Anniversar Humidor- Each drawer holds a different size cigar

3 Creedo Humidification Units/Digital Hydrometer/Certificate

Only 1,000 humidor sets will be released and the only release of the RAMON Y RAMON cigars.
 
It was $2600 new with all the cigars! What is missing out of it? The Ramons are worth more than the 150s because they were never released in anything else! One of my locker holders has an entacted one that I sold him! Nice catch!
 
Geez where you gonna put it? I've seen the pics of your humidor and your feezerdor! LOL

I have to admit that this is an abstract thing to me - kind of like picturing a gazillion dollars. I just can't relate to how good you did...someday. Enjoy, man, the collection sure does look good.
 
Great find! It would be wasted on me - I would just burn them all! ;)
 
Not worth what they originally sold it for, IMHO.
