So what does everyone do for a living?

I am a Stores Agent for an airline.

That is fancy talk for a parts clerk. Ship/receive and maintain parts invnetory for the fleet.

So when I am sitting bored for hours on end in the bat cave, it is considered a good thing. When I am busy, that means something is broke.

How about you?
 
Retired Army SFC / E-7 with 20+ years of active service. Now I work for the Garrison Commander at the United States Military Academy, West Point as an Operational Specialist. We ensure everything on the post runs smoothly, i.e., Army Football, parades, ceremonies, funerals, etc. We are all Government Service (GS) and the majority of us are prior service as well....... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
I am a self employed home improvement contractor working with my sons. I have been doing that for 2 years. Prior to that I spent 35 years in the I/T field, the last 20 as an I/T Director.

Been in the Army 5+ years, currently slotted as the Battalion Logistics Officer, in charge of all supply transactions within the unit.
 
Investment Advisor and occasional accountant. Maybe not for much longer though - been thinking it's near time for a change.

I'm currently the CIO *cough System Admin / Slave cough* of a mid-sized German firm. Before that I worked on a German Road Construction Crew for over 7 years until I got tired of busting my hump and went back to school.

Now working on first obtaining my MSCA And then my MSCE.

And close to twenty years ago I was an E-5(Sargent) in a HAWK Air Defense Battery before I decided to ETS.
 
I work for a firm that writes Payroll / Financial for Indiana School corporations and Payroll / Financial / Investment / Tax software for Indiana county govts.
