So what does everyone do for a living?

I enslave small children and put them to work in toxic factories making cheap baubles.

I run one of Moki's slave factories.

And damn, these little enslaved bastards can work. :D

I'm an Aircraft Technician. I fix Shooter's airplanes, so he can get the kiddos to Disney World. :D

I help about 20M or so dial users who can't or won't get broadband surf their daily porn.

I smoke great cigars and drink good scotch.

During the week, to support such habits, I work for a "really big" company making server grade network hardware. They call me a "Senior" hardware design engineer and I haven't decided if I should slap 'em every time they say that or not... ;)

I smoke cigars and occasional sell one or two! This has been done before, search function is your best friend, newbies!

Actually that does pose a question for this forum.

Do you guys like to have older threads bumped or is it best to start a new one?

I saw the other thread like this but most forums I have been to hate it when folks bump something from many pages back.

Seems the acceptable method varies from one forum to the next. Just wondering what proper form would be here.

Thanks,

Mike

Don't let Smokeyballs get under your skin new people.
I don't think he has had a good cigar lately. :p
As long as it isn't something that was just posted or bumped last week no harm no foul.
I am a GIS Administrator for the City Utilities Bureau (I make very pretty maps and collect data on stuff).

Funny you mention that because I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with finding an old thread and adding to it. I too have seen people whine like bitches giving birth to bowling balls  when someone (especially a newer member to a site) finds an old thread and make a post in it. In particular, I've seen the dorks on ClubStogie do this which is one of many reasons why that is one of the shittiest cigar boards going but that's a topic for another thread.

I actually like it when someone finds an old thread because sometimes, it has posts from people who aren't around anymore and some of us say to ourselves "Oh yeah, I haven't seen _______ post in a long time, I wonder what he's up to?". Other times when I see a post I made in an old thread I say "Wow, I said WHAT?"

So please search old threads and add to them, it adds to the fun around here.

You could say I have fooled around in the gas compression field myself.

I'm a Technical Sgt. (a.k.a. E-6) in the USAF; weather forecaster. In 7 long years, I shall be semi-retired.

In my spare time, I run a halfway house for girls who are afraid to go all the way.

I work on the assembly line in the shoe lace factory putting the little plastic ends on the laces as they come off the line.
