Any other rabid fans of this show?

It is NOT the campy family show of the 70's. This one is high on drama, action and just plain good writers and acting.

Was finally able to sit down and watch the most recent episode. Thinking I will watch it again before I call it a night.
 
if you have netflix, you can watch seasons 1,2 and 2.5 to catch up. great series,very edgy. my wife is a rabid fan, for giggles i grabbed the first season of the origianl series. was good for 1978, but very hokey, we watched 1 episode and i returned it to netflix. the new series is rebroadcast in high def on my cable provider, the series looks great in high def.
Sharon is my favorite, toaster or not, she is hot.

Great show. One of the best, if not the best, on TV right now.

And the woman that play's Sharon is a great actor. She plays so many variations of the same character, each with unique nuances. Impressive.

Oh yeah, and she is smoking hot also.
 
My wife and I just discovered this series. We NetFlix'd season one, finished it night before last, and have ordered season 2.0 / 2.5....good stuff.

It is replayed on Mondays. Comes on at 7pm here, which would make it 11pm eastern.

I work when it airs as well, but have a DVR and record it.

Oh, and Grace Park is very hot and a good actress. She has so many scenes where she is one on one with an actor like Almos and she holds her own very well.

I have been hooked since the first season. Just keeps getting better.
 
I got hooked after I watched an episode in the first season. I went back and watched the miniseries and then kept watching episodes as they aired (thanks to BitTorrent).

Has anyone here seen the episode this season, Exodus Part II? It has some of the best CG effects I've seen before, not to mention it was just frakkin cool!

I have never shouted "Wow! That is too cool!" at the TV before till I saw those.

What an awsome episode. I wonder what they are going to do to Tigh's character now that he has to live with killing his own wife.
 
:( I miss Farscape. They dropped that for Stargate and I have never recovered. Farscape ROCKED! :thumbs:

Ron Moore said in the podcast that Tigh will be dealing with Ellen's death for a long time. I'm just glad they wrote some good stuff for Michael Hogan this season, not just more drinky drinky!

I agree, they gave him some great lines this season.

"Which side are we on. We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We're evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go."- Tigh in reference to suicide bombers.

They didn't drop it for Stargate - they were both on the same night for a while, and were part of a major ad campaign before the 4th season aired (posters all over the NYC subways, buses, etc). The show that took Farscape's place was a total POS series Tremors (show was so bad, I can't figure out why the hell they didn't just go ahead with the final season of Farscape they had initially signed up for). The movie was great, and they managed to cram a whole season's worth of stuff in it. I had a copy of it over a month before it aired on TV thanks to my brother who used to work at MTV (still have it, check this out :thumbs: )

That and Firefly were two of the best made sci-fi series, and two of my favorites of all-time (Farscape wins by a landslide for me though ;) ). SG-1 is great but it's obvious that they are pouring more into Atlantis for this final season (wonder how they will spin off the loss of the "base of operations" without the SGC/SG-1 tie-in)

BSG seems to be hit or miss but it's a pretty good show.
