For those of you that are Penguin fans - I have been for 30+ yrs - this years team is really fun to watch. They arguably have 4 of the brightest young stars in the league - Crosby, Malkum, Stall and Fluery - If you get a chance to watch them either in person or on TV by all means do.

The goal Malkum scored last night on Broduer was very Lemiuex like.

I am a die hard Pens fan....have been for over a decade. It has been a long time coming to see this much excitement back in the city regarding the Pens. The Crosbey-Malkin combination should be the premiere line for years to come. Let's not forget Marc Andre-Fleury and Jordan Staal. Both are incredible young talents as well.

That situation is contingent upon the outcome of the vote to see which gaming company receives the new slot license for the city of Pittsburgh. The Isle of Capri casino has already stated that if they receive the license, they will write the city a check for $289,000,000 and pay for the arena without any outside funding.

The new owner has stated that if a new arena is built, he is keeping them in Pittsburgh...if it is not built, then.... Oh Canada !!

He's blowing smoke towards the city. He's Canadian and wants to have a team in Canada. They'll move at some point new arena or not.

I hope not...it was actually put into contract as a condition of the sale. The Lemieux Group would not sell to anyone unless they agreed to leave the team in the city if a new arena had been built.

I hope they don't get moved....I really don't want to move to Canada.

Buffalo fans have to give up the whining over the '99 call. Jeez the "toe in the crease" rule was stupid to begin with. Hull in no way interfered with Hasek's ability to stop that puck. It was a goal.

The Pens have a great future, I sure hope they get that arena issue resolved and stay in Pittsburgh forever

Stupid rule yes, but it was the rule! I love that the rules don't apply because they're stupid I still think they overlooked the rule because the multiple overtimes had taken the game into the wee hours of the morning and the refs were ready to go home. In any case, I'll quit whining when the Sabres win the cup

Pittsburgh is my second favorite team. Just to keep things on topic
