Ravello knock off humidor with Oasis... Cheap

Looks like a cheaper Ravello copy. The Oasis looks like an older model also. If you can get the win for less than $40 or 50 it may be worth it. A new Oasis is around $90-100....

Got to be careful, a lot of these Ebay humidors are NOT lined with spanish cedar. The trays are made from and the inside is lined with maple, not the best wood for a humidor!

True, I figure the Oasis is worth $40 or $50. At worst, you have some very nice looking kindling for the fireplace :laugh:

Yep - I learned that one the hard way. Have a beautiful maple box sitting on my dresser now. When I bought mine, which ironically, looks just like the one in the auction, it was touted as being lined with Spanish Cedar. Well, the same seller is now listing these w/o any mention of spanish cedar. Thank God for Holt's aging room. Got a great deal on a XL Bubinga Savoy Humidor for $50.

I thought for $30-40 plus shipping it wasn't a bad deal if someone was looking for an Oasis. I've heard too many horror stories about knock off humidors..

I found a nice Reed Barton Strathmore with beads for $35. Plenty happy with that.

Be careful with those ebay humidors. I got duped and ended up buying the real deal from cigarmony two weeks later. Does he have a good feedback rating? :sign:
