I am on a tight budget and already have a few (26) premiums in the humi. I am smoking JR alternative(punch rothschild) right now,its a little light but has a good nutty flavor. I am looking for another good affordable daily smoke and I have 2 narrowed down and would like an opinion on which to try, or if anyone has smoked them and what they think. Trinidad Y Cia and Consuegra.

Thanks for the help

Iam smoking a Sancho rite now and it seems to be suiting my taste. Is there a methdo to tasting or is it just that-- tasting the first thing that hits? I am new so I am just asking. I think the iegos are light and taste like p-nuts with a hint of whiskey and I thid Sancho has a kida sweet taste to it. any opinions of my sense of taste or am I gettin the hang of this thing.

Connies. especially #9 and #14.

You can look on Cbid for some good deals on other sticks. I recommend 5 vegas, always dirt cheap except for the limitada line, other lines such as the gold (not as full flavored as Punch) and series A can be won for nearly $1 a stick. Who knows, you might like them.

Find a line that has different wrappers on basicly the same stick. Don Tomas comes to mind. You can get a natural, maduro, oscuro and maybe a cameroon too so this way you can begin to see what you prefer.

You can always go with a Tatuaje white label or Padron 2/3k, great for the money and definitely worth the extra dollar or so over the housebrand/seconds.

Connies
Tampa Sweethearts
Rosa Cuba
Sancho Panza

All are good value sticks depending on your tastes.

As for strength I would say in order from mildest to fullest body:

Sweethearts
Rosa Cuba
Connies
Sancho Panza

I smoke all of them depending on what I am in the mood for that day.

Padron Maduro Churchills

Peterson Gran Reserva
(these were over $100 a box, but most places have them on sale for about 65% off right now. I kinda liked them at the old price of $7 a stick, they're great for $2 a stick...)

I always offer up the Nicaraguan Mantequilla. It is a Nicaraguan puros. Puros means that all of the tobacco used to make the cigar is from one country.

They are very inexpensive. You can find a box of 20 torpedos in natural or maduro wrappers for about $34. They age very nicely and they're pretty darn tasty to begin with.

well ibought the consuegra #17 and i likey. i really like the sancho's and i think that i will buy a box(sometime) i would like to thank SammyP for the awsome sampler gift he sent me, I am overwhelmed and very thankful for that, I have not smoked them all yet but i really liked the padilla miami and the indian tabac maduro so far that is the only ones ive had time to smoke. thank you again. xmas shopping is here so funds are short i will buy more smokes after the holidays. i did however put some cigar funds to good use by buing 5 mountain bikes and 3 big bags of clothes for the salvtion army angel tree :D . i do this every year it makes me feel good to know that i helped someone have a good xmas. thanks for all the suggestions ,i will probably try each and every one.

merry xmas
