I thought this should be made a permanant record, Some of these numbers are due to the first Cigar Draft and like Roger Marris should have an asterisk next to them. I am proud to be on this list, as I hope the rest of my BOTL's are.

Congrats Wade you are a CP record holder of 104 posts in a single day, Gonz also broke the old record. Opus meX gets a mention also for the highest number of posts in one day and only being here a few days! How long will this record last?;)

I am not sure I totally agree with that although I understand your point. The value of post counts shows participation in the community, even if some of the posts are worthless to some. As long as they're done with sincerety or humor. Sometimes we even put our foot in our mouths, but there is something to be learned from that too. I would rather see someone post and participate then some of the members who have been here a long time and hardly post at all. We don't get to know them for one thing. This community is like the rest of the world some people talk alot and some people are listeners. They should not be condemed either way. We all come here to learn and be entertained. The posters if nothing else are entertaining most of the time. JMHO!
 
I agree Paul. I guess what I was saying is that post count means nothing as related to general knowledge of the topic of the forum. You are absolutely right in the participation of the community part. I belong to a motorcycle site with similiar membership and am like #5 in all time posts with over 11,000. Do I know a little about the bike, yeah, I do, do I know a little about that community, yep, there too. But we accept those that post a lot just as much as those who read and really don't post much. All the same I guess, but it is more fun for me to be an active participant, like you, like me.
