What a weird concept for a game show! I caught it by accident since it followed Dirty Jobs. I'm a trivia bitch but don't care for most game shows. For those of you who haven't heard of it, its a Yellow Cab (in New York, I think) with lighted panels in the headliner. The fare meter tallies the winnings instead of the fare. $100 per question with two lifelines, a phone call (using the cabbie's cellphone) and one shout out (the window). This one is thumbs up!

I've seen it a few times. The questions get harder as the distance progresses but never really get "really" hard. At least in my opinion.

What's a "trivia bitch"?

The best part is at the very beginning when he fires up all the lights and what and youget to see the expressionson their face.

Cash Cab rocks! I watch it every time I get the chance. Not to mention, if you do get your three strikes, the cab pulls over and kicks your ass to the curb! I love it when that happens. Then of course there's the video double question at the end, all or nothing baby!

The closest cigar shop to work is often filled with an amusing array of colorful individuals, such as Mr. Sausagefingers, and Sausagefingers, Jr. who, more often than not, are watching CashCab.

I enjoy trivia, as in trivial pursuit and Jeopardy.

I watch it once in a while. Cool concept. I believe it's in San Francisco, though. Seems like they say it in the opening credits, or somewhere.

Pretty sure it's in NYC. Funny, though, even though I feel pretty sure about that, I can't seem to remember one single landmark or specific example that makes me so confident.

You're probably right. It just seemed like I saw an episode where they said they were in SF. Probably my imagination.

wife and kids and I up north on vacation last summer and stuck in the cottage , because of rain so nothing to do but pla yahtzee and watch tv.

This show comes on and we were rivoted. As soon as we got home we looked it up and now tape it occassionally on the dvr.

We love it!

I agree its wierd concept and a bit of a who wants to be a millionare rip off but its entertaining to watch.
