Sponsor me :D

As many of you know I am involved with on track motorcycle riding. I've been into bikes since I was a kid, and shortly after purchasing my latest bike in 2003 I found the track! Ever since then my life has bascially revolved around it. There is nothing I've ever done that even comes close to the excitement of racing around the track and everything that comes with it. The people, the travel, the smell of race fuel...everything!

Well this year I am stepping things up and I'm going to start racing. A close buddy of mine that I ride with got started last year and did about 75% of the series and finished in the Top 10. This year, we are going to try and hit every race. The organization I will be racing with is the CCS Mid Atlantic Series It covers races from Florida up the East Coast to West Virginia. Dennis, we'll be coming your way a lot! I think there are 4 or 5 races at Summit Point, which I am pretty sure is right near your house. The first race of the year is the beginning of March at Daytona which is going to be quite intense. I've attached a short video clip at the bottom to show the guys up on the banking. Its going to be wild running at 160mph on those banks!

I've been working very hard this winter to get myself and the bike ready for this year. Daily workouts at the gym are a must, and I've been saving every penny from Hillbilly Steaks to make this possible. The cost of racing is quite substantial. The tires alone for just one race weekend run close to $400. Not to mention traveling costs, lodging, food, race fuel, bike repairs, etc. Budgeting $10,000 for a season is actually pretty realistic for what the costs will be.

I'm currently looking for Race Sponsors for this year. I mentioned this to Rod before I posted and he gave me the OK so I hope you guys don't mind. But I know that there are quite a few business owners here that may be interested in the extra exposure that comes with having your Business name or website logo on the bike. I do not have a set guideline for X dollar amount gets you Y amount of space etc, but I'm definitely open to discuss any such arrangements with anyone who is interested. Along with exposure on the bike, I will also be creating a website for Hillbilly Steaks racing with a link on my business website. You business would be listed here as well.

Guys, forgive me for creating such a post on the Cigar website, but right now I'm just really trying to use my resources to make this year happen!

Thanks,
E
