Small place in the Dry Creek area, their wine is really really really good, we're on our 3rd case. The Cab is our fav., followed by the red Zin and then Chard (we don't drink much white). I can't recommend them enough.

We have a few bottles of Zin left, pm me if you wanna try and i'll send ya a bottle

I've never heard of these folks nor have I ever tried their wine, I'll put them on the list to try next time I'm in Dry Creek. DCV is a great Zin producing region and their are quite a number of wineries making great Zins from DCV fruit. Infact, the fruit for our Zin comes from a very very old DCV vineyard. Looks like they're very near Healdsburg, that's where I met MMM a few years ago.

According to the map I found their right down the street from Unti (father George and son Mick)........ good juice :thumbs: , and near Mauritson (Clay Mauritson). They should all be at Zap this weekend, great people and I always say hello and try their latest vintage.

Unfortunately, i need to step back from alcohol consumption (i don't do things in moderation well, i'm either wide open or not) for awhile, more than likely forever, so my collection maybe for sale (if i can get a fair price). It's a drag because i just got a nice little collection of Irish, Scotch, Bourbon, Rye, Rum, and Vodka togather, now i get to abstain.

I stayed in Healdsburg and visited Dry Creek Valley myself this past spring. Um, aren't they in Sonoma County? I agree that the region makes great Zinfandel.

To anyone contemplating a stay in that region, I recommend checking out Ravenous restaurant in Healdsburg. I can dig up the name of the guest cottage I stayed in if anyone is interested (please PM me if so). It was cheap by Sonoma standards and a very nice stay. Like about $120 or so a night for a fully functional and stocked guest home.

we given alot away as gifts, and i now allow myself a glass of wine a night, and 4 drinks a week, working well. Actually, when i wrote that original post we were going through some serious marital issues, so things seemed much worse than they were, but now our marriage is the best (by far) it's been in the 17 yrs we've been married, and moderation is something i've learned (or learning)

but doing the math, we went in July, so that's roughly 180 days, and we drank a glass a day, that would be 90 bottles in that time frame, so i'd say roughly drinking 20-24 bottles during that time frame is working out well.

it is Sonoma Co i think. If you wanna indulge yourself, stay at Milliken Creek in Napa, pricey but very very luxurious, nice to treat yourself every now and then. When we went there, it was during the heat wave, and it definitely interfered w/ the experience, but the 4 days we stayed in Mendocino made the trip.
