So, it dawned on me that tomorrow is my two year anniversary with Cigar Pass and all you animals.....
It started so simply; about three years ago, I was at a buddy's house for one of our semi regular whiskey sippin' afternoons and he tells me "....I'm going to have a cigar; want one?.." My first answer was "...no thank you..." but when he opened his humidor, DAMN did it smell good..!! Now, I'd had the occasional random cigar over the years, but never really paid much attention to 'em. So, I rethought my remark and said "...Ok, maybe a small one..." so he pulls our a little Cohiba Pequino "red dot" and that was that. I remember thinking how good it tasted, and how it really went great with the beverage. Hmmmm, I thought, I wouldn't mind having a few of those around. Soon, Google and I were at work and I found this place called Cigar Pass. The rest, as they say, is history. Three full to the top coolers and a packed desktop humi later, I guess I can say I am fully "hooked".
I have learned so much in the time spent here, and made some of the best friends imaginable. Met some great guys, and had the pleasure of hosting the first (and hopefully not the last) PacNW herf here at my home. It's been a great ride, and I hope it continues for some time. I learn more and more as time goes on, and can't imagine this hobby that turned into a passion would have been nearly as enjoyable without the knowledge and experience I've been offered here. I hope I contribute something to the mix and can give back a little as time goes on.
All I can add is a very sincere "....thanks, guys..!!..." and offer my best wishes to the horde.
Cheers, guys - !!! - B.B.S.
