As soon as there is any chance that they are close to ready to be smoked. I did smoke a sinle RIGHT when I got my box, which was tight at the time of the release. In a year, I'll try again. It wasn't bad, not at all...just not ready, and I think I did do a basic review somewhere...if I can find it, I'll post it.
