In his 14 year career he's thrown 396 TD's to 253 interceptions. He trails Dan Marino as the #2 in almost every passing record. Has a chance to catch most TD's thrown in a career but would have to have a super year. (Needs 24 to tie) That is the career of a great QB.
The last two years he has thrown 38 TD's to 47 interceptions..... there are very few great athletes that go out on top. It takes a special mindset to be a premier athlete and its not easy to except that "you don't have it anymore". As much as I like the guy I'm afraid he will end up regretting this decision. I hope I'm wrong but his recent performaces seem to be praised more for "he's doing a great job for a man his age" than it is "he's the best man available for the job".
