I work my ass off all week. Scheduled to be home 11 hrs all week....Flew through some extremely nasty weather today. THEN

Got reassigned to fly to Portland, Maine and they're forcast for two feet of snow or more... Geeze looks like I am gonna be here for a few days with only three smokes. Could be worse...


Just had to rant its been a hell of week... Hope everyone gets through the storm okay
 
Shooter, be glad your not flying into the Washington DC area.
We are in the middle of an ice storm.
The weather folks are saying we could get an inch plus of ice out here...
 
Flew into Columbus today, took and hr to get all the ice off the plane once we landed so we could depart again. Ice pellets are the most dangerous followed by freeezing rain.
 
Hang in there bro... Yeah, I have been delayed a long time myself due to ice, I hear that is very dangerous
 
Hopefully you can find a local B&M to "reload", Shane. If not, I'd be happy to FedX you some emergency rations..... :laugh: Seriously, glad to do it. Send me an addy an I'll hook you up.

Well my flight from Portland to Cinci has cancelled. So who knows. I will call in a few hours and check in. Of course they will be so busy no one will answer... I just found out Portland is no smoking so I am hosed there also. :angry:

Well I lived in the U.P. for three years. I am used to it.

My flight cancelled today. My first officer is pissed cause we were supposed to be home today at 1400 now it's lookinglike 2100. She is saying she isn't gonna do it. (Another case on why I think the sky is blue. If women were meant to fly it would be pink) ARGHH. just a good aviation joke. It's a cockpit not a box office. Na I have flown with great female pilots, those are just two of the running jokes in aviation. Like how do you sperate the drunks from the whores on a plane. Close the cockpit door.

I think she will its either get home at 2100 or stay another day here. I would rather be home.

I think I am starting to get DT's from the lack of cigars... Maybe I will pull a Brickhouse and go outside and smoke one. Only thing is I have no warm clothes. Just a jacket and pants and gloves. Call me whatever but I hate being cold. I don't hate the cold.

Oh well hopefully something will break loose or I could just walk to the liquor store.... HAHA
