Yes be your own advocate. Also get copies of all lab work & doctor stuff. You might be surprised what they "don't" tell you but write down.

1) find a good urologist
2) drink more water with citrus (lemon or lime)
3) request a KUB x-ray for that region. You might be surprised... it could still be a kidney stone.

I have em and hope you get to a doctor to get this rectified.
