Well said Samuel. I'm all for learning more about cigars, but this tit for tat about who knows more is very annoying. At this point I could care less who's right in this argument but I keep coming back to see how many periods Bob will use in his replies.

Bob I think the problem is the way you're presenting your evidence. I've read in more then one post how you've "been there, done that". You seem to want validation as being a "cigar expert" and people don't respond kindly to someone who likes to brag. If you are indeed a cigar expert, your knowledge and experience will show through to the community through thoughtful posts and timely knowledge that you provide. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt if you just stop trying to gain the "expert" handle. The way you're trying to go about seems very abrasive and disrespectful.

You have presented very little applicable evidence of your position.

But it's not even that, it's the way you disagreed, your whole attitude that brought people out of the woodwork. There have been lots of reasonable disagreements on this board, but everyone was civil and respectful. That's what you weren't and that's really the problem.

This started out respectfuly until I was ask to name all the hand rolled cello cigars ever produce.........And the name of the book Devin quoted......How should I take that kind of talk..to be friendly

Can you noticed the subtle difference in "never seen one" and "they don't exist". One is, I've never seen one but I believe they could exist, and the other is "you're wrong".

I dont find that to be offensive rather.......Im trying to get some interaction......As soon as a vet appreared that was different........Any newbee here can atest to that........
