You can still smoke in most bars, Thursday's is the best night to go out around here. I have a smoking room in my basement if worse comes to worse! I do not know Ninja, look forward to meeting both of you! Shooter's wife does manage a bar.......

Caesar's is 20 minutes from downtown.....not too far and a good place to smoke. There are several places to smoke still. Stevie Rays Blues Bar, Howl at the Moon (Where Shane's wife manages) and many others....if you have not been to 4th street live you should go, lots of smokin' and drinkin' there. The smoking ban goes into effect in July of 07 and the only place you will be allowed to smoke is Churchill downs although it may get struck down because businesses are suing as a result of the preferential treatment to Churchill.....In the meantime, most bars still allow smoking.


Edited to add that opening day for the Spring Meet at Churchill is April 28th!!!!!
