He won't leave this week. All the workers in those off-shore call centers are voting for him. I agree, he sucks really bad, but then again, Howard Stern is telling all his listeners to vote for him because he SUCKS so bad.

I think they need to change the voting. Too many GOOD singers are being sent home way too early.

I like Idol, but I will not watch until he gets voted off. It's such a freakin' joke anymore....

And Stern isn't the only one, Don (of "The Don and Mike Show") is also telling people to vote for him as a goof.

If it's the number 1 show on television then that's a very sad commentary on the television watching audience in this country.....
 
Well sadly enough, what makes ratings on TV is things like AI or shows like Lost, 24, CSI, Sporting events, etc...a LOT of people enjoy shows on Discovery channel, History channel (me included), but unfortunately they don't end up factoring into what gets voted as top-watched TV...just a little opinion there...i would actually like to know what is anyone's favorite TV show on either History, Discovery, Animal Plant, etc? No limit on the channel, but the type of channel is clearly denoted in the post...what do you love when you want to be highly educated???

I too love Digging for the Truth, and all the religious-based studies on Discovery and TLC. But my favorite has to be Mythbusters! It can indeed be educational, but is also just flat-out entertaining. Used to never miss Junkyard Wars either. The last season or two weren't very good; but when it was still close to its British roots, it was superb entertainment.
 
Anybody catch Planet Earth on HD Sunday night? I got to get this on Blu-Ray when it comes out next month. I can't wait to see it the way it was originally aired in the UK! The great whites coming out of the water to catch seals was awesome!
 
As a reporter stated on TV, when you call about a problem with your DSL you get rerouted to vote for him. Total joke. :(
