any problems sending tubos through USPS?

got an uncle there that I'm sending cigars too...

...some of the cigars are in aluminum tubes.


So, here's my question:

Has anyone had problems sending cigars in tubes?
Or do people just remove them before sending them?

I send tubos as I would send any sticks, that is, in a sturdy box with adequate packing material.

Just wanted to get a consensus regarding sending the cigars in the tubos.
