The Fat Boy has landed!

Ray, you are one sick Bastid! This actually makes me look forward to an epoxy or foam bomb! The wire is a nice touch to I might add. I will add pics to the original post later, I thought you might enjoy this one.....I have a little help!

A future BOTL in training!
  It's so nice to be on the outside looking in. That wire cut the hell out of my fingers on mine. Glad I didn't get the new improved cement bomb.

POWER TOOLS

Alright......I guess that I'll be away from my computer for ...............a while. So, until I return safely with pictures to add, I defer temporary Noobler command to jfields. John, this would be a good time for you to have a weekend road trip a little further south Brother!
  I just caught this bro. I have to work tommorow so, I'm afraid that you're on your own. You can do it. Wish I could make it.

   A LOOOONNNNNGGG way to go. tick tick tick. 41 hours to go.

Glass tube inside that can't be broken. What tool would you suggest?

POWER TOOLS

Jonesy, take it nice and easy with an angle grinder. As long as your gentle you should be able to get rid of most of the excess cement without damaging the glass tube.

Also in case you don't have an angle grinder, buy one  I consider it to be one of the best tools I own.

Edit reread post and needed to add a couple words.

Well, I pretty much had to stop for the night. While taking a break, my son and I were doing some fireworks and one quick fused and went off in my hand....I still don't have any feeling in my thumb, index, or middle finger on my right hand. I know, I know,......no sob stories or excuses.

Too soon to be celebrating your success don't you think ???

Looking at what's left of that block and how well it's been put together, if there's any celebrating it will be early Sunday afternoon. Not knowing where you put the tube kinda has me overly cautious while chiseling.

Gettin nervous Doc?

Don't worry about it. You should actually be praying he does succeed...

Buah ah ah ah ah !

You must know your Doc well, mine doesn't work the weekends and he doesn't have an Xray machine in his office either. ;)

AVB its GODS little game he plays with me.

Have been clean and sober for 11 years. I was a BAD BOY :whistling:

Well last year I find out I have MS. Multiple sclerosis.

You get that when your own immune system attacks the nervous system,

Because it has nothing to do. So I see that guy quite a bit. LOL

Haha, really nice bomb! :D

Good luck Brian!

Ray:

Just out curiosity, what is the attitude of your local PO worker when you bring these 40 pound boxes in?

Also, when they ask "is there anything fragile, liquid, perishable, or potentially hazardous in your package", how do you keep from laughing?

Mine was right in the middle but, never trust a crafty Marine to do the same thing twice. :D

We have a guy that rebuilds small electric motors in town. My postmaster says he regularly gets 50+ lbs in his incoming and outgoing mail using the flat rate boxes. 36 lbs isn't that bad in comparison.

Ohhh, boy... Chiseling on it risks shattering the glass tube.

Rent a concrete or tile saw... Take thin layers off... Should be able to whittle through that in a couple of hours, once you find the tube :whistling:
