I will be at my daughters near Ashland Wisconsin for the next week. If their are any BOTL or SOTL in the area who would like to get together let me know.

how close is ashland to lacrosse?

edit: ashland way up north? if so, 5 hours away

If you are up for a 5 hour drive there is a herf on July 7th at the Pioneer Pub in Wild Rose, Wi. (Waushara County)
Theres a list of lodging info in the Herfs Thread.

Thanks, that sounds like fun. I get to see my daughter, son-in-law and grandsons so seldom, I would have a hard time justifying leaving for that long.

Just saw this...

I'm 15 miles north of Duluth, MN which is about 70 miles from Ashland. I don't know how it is over there, but on this side of the river you can't smoke anywhere in Duluth. The few places in the outskirts I've been to that allow smoke do not allow cigars.

I'd be glad to meet up somewhere for a drink. Coming all the way out to my place just for a smoke may not be in your time frame, however (it would be about 90 miles one way). There isn't much in between here and there.

Just let me know if you want to make a little trip and I'll try to figure something out.

It would probably be Thursday or Friday. Maybe there is something between here and there with an outside bar or patio.

I know the bars here still allow smoking. The bar right next to my daughters house Valhalla View Pub & Grub is cigar friendly ;)
