Thanks to everyone who has put in their two cents so far. I too like Padron 2000, although I haven't tried the maddie yet.. only natural. Also AF Chateau Sun Grown as well. I have also enjoyed several LGC's and Oliva's that were reasonably priced. Actually today I received a box of La Flor de Ynclan, Lancero's. My friend that turned me on to cigars about 4 months ago got me hooked on them. I don't see or hear a lot of people talk about them... but I really like them a lot. I love the lancero size... good draw, fits good in my hand... everything about it!

Oh, and I think I will give the newbie sampler a try. I appreciate everyones feedback!

I would recommend Padron 200 or Londres in Maduro, Fuente 858 Maduros or Naturals - hell for $125 you could get a box of Fuente Don Carlos #4 or Padron 6000 Maduros for a little less than that even!

I'll make it simple and give you my favorite cigar manufacturers to chose a nice, varied sample from:

Davidoff
La Aurora
Padron
Fuente
Gurkha
Hoyo de Monterey

Mix it up. Try a whole bunch of different sizes, wrapper shades/colors. See what really knocks your socks off and, though it might sound anally retentive, keep note of your favorites and the taste profiles.
