My Canadian friends, I feel your pain. :( Nice selection, but a little KY jelly would have been appreciated. Cohiba Sublimes, $53. I sure hope this isn't visions of things to come for us in the states.

We are taxed to death. Online stores are becoming my friend, cost is 1/2 to 1/3 the B & M. Hope your proposed tax doesn't pass.

Vancouver is my old home town - lived their the first 25 years of my life.

The taxes are insane - both on cigars and alcohol......MDG is $40+ per 24 pack.....nuts.

LCdH Vancouver is a beautiful store though, and I am not just talking about the staff!

They were both very pretty men, if that's what you meant.

Damn, I have never seen a man working there before. They usually have these beautiful tall women that work there....then again its been a few months since I was there last.

Asking for a recommendation, I asked one woman once what cigar she likes best (as they always would escort you into the walk in humidor) and she responded with, "I have never had a cigar before." When I questioned the validity of her recommendations, she said that she heard they were good and the flavor profiles she described. Got a good kick out of that.
