The Master Cleanse

Frank, are you refering to a full body cleanse or just colon? I go to a private herbalist and a while back she put me on Cleansmore (a.k.a. colon blow) for the better part of a year and then onto bioflavinoids and live acidophilis for the better part of a year. She had said my old lifestyle and the Atkins diet had screwed me up. I used to average a poo every other day and it wasn't always easy. Now it's twice a day and like soft serve. I would say many are fad but some are legit. I am very open about my poo. :laugh:

The idiot next to me, I mean my coworker, is doing it right now and is on day 8 or something. All I know is that he is even more miserable than he normally is. So I like it.
 
I starved myself for a week or more, and went 3 days with out water. Didn’t much care for it, the whole death thing wasn’t cool. Trust me, pass on this.

I have, but this Lemonade 'diet' isn't to lose weight, it's to flush your body of built up toxins. It may or may not work, but it's been around for 30 years. The weight you lose on it is mainly water weight, and it can cause you to lose muscle, not sure how much. I passed on it, ended up doing alot of research on it, and came to the conclusion (others told me this in this thread also) that the body can cleanse itself just fine. I eat 4-5 times a day, very little saturated fat, whole grains, lots of veggies and fruit, and very little starches and sugars...

Yep, that's the way to do it. I'm pretty sure your body will flush all the toxins out if you'd up your water intake as well.
 
i found another way to flush your digestive system: bowl of Life cereal loaded w/ blueberries at 9pm, then a morning walk at 6am, but better wear your Depends, or have very forgiving and understanding neighbors.

I dunno... I've been doing some experimentation with the Alcohol cleansing system and expect to report my findings at some point.

I suggest drinking large quantities of alcoholic laden beverages to kill all the bad things in the system. Generally, at some point during this episode, I end up with a huge urge to eat White Castles - which leads to repeated trips to the boys room shortly afterwards. You have your bug killing part (alcohol) and system flush (White Castle) all at the same time! :thumbs:

The only thing I suggest is to use top shelf alcohol - nothing cheap. Inferior quality results in bad headaches the next day (i.e. Pabst Blue Ribbon beer).

Edited to add: I did incorporate the "Lemonade" part the other night when I engaged in "Lemon Drop" shots (I of course used "Sugar in the Raw" on the lemon to keep it pure and natural). I also used a citrus vodka that was five times distilled - pharmaceutical grade, ya know. I slept very well that night, and I did feel pretty doggone good on Monday! I would say the results are promising!
 
I had a good cleansing last Tuesday. A bottle of Fleet in the morning and another at night.

If you know what Fleet is, you know what I'm talking about. If you don't, you're too young and you'll find out bloody well soon enough.
 
I've done the Master Cleanse many times. Works great for me. But I also drink, smoke Cohibas and exercise every day so what do I know?
 
Follow these simple rules for health as you age:

Don't get blacked-out drunk more than three times a week.
Never smoke more that one cigar before you get out of bed in the morning. If you are getting out of bed in the afternoon, up the rule to two cigars.
Pee when you can.
Never trust a fart.

Hey! My mother gave me that advice from the time I was a small child. I always thought she was full of it - like the bit about "...put that down before you put an eye out..." :rolleyes:
