For the last two days now, everything that I smoke has tasted like shit! I don't get it. My good friend (who is an avid smoker) tell me, "Your'e getting sick." I'm starting to think that he might be right. In an effort to finally taste something, I have fired up and and put out about three different cigars, cigars that I typically enjoy. Oh shit, now what??? ??? Anyone else experience this?

I might have to take a little down time... :0

Something similar happened to me recently. I was at a local B&M and started to fire something up, but it just didn't really appeal to me. So I walked through their humidor to see if something else sounded good. Nope. I had already smoked a pretty stout cigar quite a bit earlier in the day but wouldn't have thought that would make a difference. I completely passed on a cigar that night and was fine a couple of days later.

For whatever the reason, it just didn't sound good at the time.

Hmmmmm.......

I never feel this way about beer.

???

Take a few days or up to a week off, then revisit. See if that helps.

As said above, the only thing I'd do is give it a break.
There's alot of 'medical' type stuff that could be going on. Also, the withdrawl will really help once you do get back on the wagon =)

Keep us posted, I''ve no doubt we've all got something to learn from you here!

Indeed!

Mac, it turned out my problem was a sinus infection and burn out combined. Take at least a week off from smoking cigars and you'll be back in the swing of things for sure.

And lately I have been doing this before every cigar smoking session and every morning when I wake up. It may sound a bit weird or gross but trust me it works.

I just wish I had the time or weather to smoke multiple times a week. I love smoking a good cigar and relaxing, but here in Cincinnati it's been SOOOOO damn hot it's just ridiculous. I'm talking 105. It's murder walking from my car into my office, much less sitting out on my balcony and burning a 6x54 stogie. Of course today was the first nice day in weeks, maybe a month, and I was home from work pretty sick. blah!
