Has anyone tried this yet? I was at Highland Cigar Co. in Atlanta today and they had it available. It wasn't cheap but the bottle costs $100 so I figured I'd give it a try. I didn't spend a lot of time analyzing it, but my opinion was that it's almost too smooth. For me, it kind of took the "oomph" out of drinking whiskey.

Too smooth? Man, I'd love me some too smooth CR :D . Getcha some XR, it's got plenty of oomph and still smooth IMO.

I got a few bottles of this for around $86 each on a website and then I saw it for $75 from my local liquor store. Oh well should have known to ask them if they would have it before buying from out of town.

I really enjoyed it. It is very smooth and the cognac imparts a nice sweet fruit-like finish that doesn't make this "too smooth." I actually enjoyed this more than a lot of high end scotch that I have tried in the past.
