If the dollar weren't so deep in the toilet, I would allow myself to dream about this...some great sounding stuff there.

The estimates are all over the place, just like last year. There are a few things in the catalog that pique my interest but for the most part this year it's slim pickins'.

Thanks for the heads-up Tim!

lol Mike has been chomping at the bit for this auction for a long time now. Nobody be surprised if we don't see him for a bit, he probably just flipped his computer on ebay for a shot at those PL Seleccion Reservas :D

AGED MACANUDO CIGARS FROM JAMAICA
Macanudo Bolderos-- 5 in.
46 Gauge. Believed early 1980's. Hand made in Jamaica
1 box of 25 cigars per lot

Estimate: 200 - 300 British pounds

Woo hoo!

Lol! Liquidation sale coming!!

I think I will only be bidding on one, possibly two lots. There are quite a few lots overall, but not a whole lot of variety. Those PL are very tempting. B/S Phil??

Edit: VAT is a killer!! Yikes.....

Just went through the cuban lots and there are quite a few from 50s/60s/70s/80s.

Cohiba Seleccion Reserva 2001
Coronas Especiales(6)
Esplendidos (4)
Robustos (6)
Piramides (8)
Medias Coronas (6)
1 box of 30 cigars per lot

Estimate: 200 - 250 British pounds

Not a bad price.

I would participate in a buying club if the more seasoned members are comfortable with my participation.

Well, it looks like the auction was somewhat of a bust. Most prices were on the low-end of estimates and some were well below. Not much of a selection to choose from; box of Davidoff Château Lafite didn't even sell. Is the vintage market drying up?

You have to have someone on site for this to be worth your time. I heard the Sir Winston Green Box wasn't in great condition.
