97.1 The Eagle is back....

Back in their heyday, this was the only rock station around. They just came back to rock again in the D/FW area. Nothing but rock-n-roll. Also, there are no commercials for the time being so all you get is good ol' rock and roll.

We've lost so many of our area's great terrestrial radio staions, KOME, KSJO, KARA, even KFRC. Actually KFRC recently made a comeback to their original programming, oldies. Others have either switched over to Spanish language stations or have been swallowed up by corporate giants that run a set playlist where the main focus is on selling commercial time.

I'm a huge fan of KFOG (rock) and KCSM (24 hr. Jazz) but I'll check out The Eagle, thanks.

Only problem is that I have become a satelite junkie... But I do remember 97.1. What next... Q102 makes a comeback!
