United Adds $25 Fee for 2nd Bag


It's only going to take is a few too many 'lost' items under that 'up-charge' to get people really PO'd!

The fee is enough to piss people off.

I couldnt imagine paying 25$ and THEN have them lose the bag. I'd be more than pissed.

That's outstanding. Wasn't it United who said they couldn't continue business without the mechanics taking a pay cut, and then rewarding a six figure bonus for top management after the mechanics did so?

Living in Denver used to mean flying United. The service my wife and I have received from that company of late has spurred us to start avoiding them in all ways. We are using the miles we have banked, and moving away from the United credit card. For an "employee owned" company, the employees sure show very little respect for the customers that pay their wages.

United sucks. Period. I'll pay more to fly just about any other airline - have had nothing but problems with United.

Same story with Northwest. They are in a perpetual state of cutting someone's pay. Mechanics, attendants, pilots. They've all been f.cked repeatedly, while upper management continues to dole out the giant bonuses and the state of Minnesota bails them out time and time again.
