I am a Fuente/Pepin/Padron whore. You can't really go wrong in any of those IMO, but I will try almost anything. Package will go out this afternoon.

I found an old tin of Nightcap at a store last week. It looks to be the original stuff too.. Ive only been smoking a pipe for 2 months.. Nightcap is very different compared to the Boswell aromatics I've been smoking.. Has a little nicotine kick to it too.. I think it may grow on me..

Ok I don't even know you, but right now I envy you. I would love to find some original Nightcap. I can only imagine how good the original is. Nice find TB!

To be honest, I almost threw it away thinking it was bad. The paper covering the tobacco was all discolored and it had a burnt, sweet smell. The place where I found it isn't a great place, its dirty and they sell a lot of stuff thats labeled 'not for individual sale' among other things like cigars, pornos and bongs (quite a combo huh??). This was the first time I visited the place.. I went there for cigars by the recommendation of a friend..

Nightcap has a great taste but the room smell is real different, I definitely cant smoke it in the house.. Ive only smoked one bowl of it, I will smoke another tonight. The tin looks old and is all blue with Made in the UK on it.. I don't know what else to look for to find out if its the original stuff.. If I post a pic could anyone let me know? There was also 1 tin of Dunhill Early Morning tobacco.. I could have got both for well under 10 bux.. I should go back to see if its still there..

Ouch, If you go to Cigar Lounge in Mckinney they have some decent cobs for $5. That would make do for a while.

Nightcap can also be substituted by a cheaper version, Lane HGL. Give it a try, to me, you can't tell a difference in smoking or smell.

Hmm.... I have never heard of that one before. I don't have access to Lane at any of out B&M's that I know of, but I have a 1/2 pound of Nightcap so it should hold me for a while.

Smoking pipe is a totally different experience for me. The smoke and the taste is completely unique. i might just have some before the night is done. Thanks for the inspiration, i almost forgot how pleasurable it is.
