Count your blessings

Sorry to hear about that, my thoughts and prayers sent your way for a speedy recovery for your son & strength for your family. Drive home safe.

Sorry to hear about the little one. My thoughts and prayers are with him and the rest of the family.

Just a quick update since I might not have been clear in my first post. I'm at the hospital now, got here yesterday afternoon after a long drive back from CO. My wife got here on Friday night via air and I had to drive. Aidan's doing better, if everything falls into place right then we'll get to take him home tomorrow night. But he'll need iv antibiotics for another two weeks once he gets back.

Thanks for all the kind wishes!

ps - Someone here (I don't have it in front of me right now) sent me an '02 ERDM Choix Supreme (unbanded) out a cab that I smoked on the way home, and it was phenominal, thanks!

Glad to hear your son is doing better. We'll be praying for you and your family, it's a tough situation, but God is in control...

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Andy, especially with Aidan. Hope he recovers soon.

That's rough news Gonz, I'm sorry to hear it. There are a bunch of Minneapolis CPers here and if we can help just let us know - Rochester isn't far.

My heart goes out to you and your wife. It is tough enough being with you children when they get sick like that, but I couldn't imagine being that far away when it happened. My families best wishes and prayers go out to the little man in hopes of a speedy recovery. If there is anything we can do, just let us know.

Glad to know that your son is doing better, your family will be in our prayers. In the mean time , there's nothing better then some family love to make a kid feel better.

Gonz, I'm glad to hear your son is doing better..I'll send your son and your entire family some positive thoughts. Prayers sent.

Aidan is up in a procedure room under sedation getting a central line placed in his arm that will be a site for administering the IV antibiotics and follow-up blood draws for the next few weeks, then after one final chest x-ray we should be taking him home tonight.

It sounds like he's got a long recovery ahead of him. He's eaten so little and is so weak right now that he can hardly stand on his own, let alone walk or do anything else. But within a month he should be back to normal. Thanks again for all the kind thoughts and words.

My prayers and thoughts for your son, and the rest of your family! I cannot even immagine how I would feel in your situation.

Good luck with everything!

Andy - happy to hear things are getting better. Really scary stuff. Be sure to give that parent or in-law or yours a big hug for acting in a timely manner.
