This is one of the most ridiculous threads I've ever read. BBS, do you have your feelings on your sleeve? Toughen your ass up, even if somebody was telling you to "fuck off", who gives a shit? I've seen SO much complaining, and downright pansy-ass behavior on this board, that even though it had nothing to do with me, I'm fed up with it. You never know when you might "accidently" offend somebody, whether it be jokes about a GF, a joke item sent, in bad taste or not, or some other side comment made. Personally, I'm not waiting around to find out if I accidently offend somebody that wears their feelings on their sleeve.

The first post states that BBS is returning the cigars and "putting him on ignore", a couple of other members state that since he's ignoring this gentleman, they are as well. He took time, and money out of his own pocket to send somebody he had never met an item that he "thought" would enjoy. Welp, if you're itching to put somebody on ignore, simply click on the name "TMarquis", and click ignore, as I won't be back for it to make a difference.

I was supposed to send somebody a pack as well, I was going out of my way to find some rare hard to find sticks, even went so far as to read old posts made by this person to see what they REALLY liked/wanted, but screw it, I'd probably end up having it thrown up in my face if I don't add a note or some other "proper" CP action. *shrugs* Just saved me some of my own money, simple as that. I don't feel like accidently offending somebody, maybe my smiley face on the hand written note looked a little crooked, so I'll take myself out of the mix before before a foolish misunderstood post has to be made about me.

You have been told this was dumb, I will do you the favor explaining why. By making this post you have told all of us at CP that ours rules or fair play don't mean sh*t to you. This is like going to someone's home for dinner and then reading them the riot act because you didn't like what was served.

This was settled like men between the two parties involved, several people expressed their opinions and even if some of their words may have been knee-jerk reactions, their words were expressed as part of the family.....on the other hand you stood up in the midst of a fanatical brotherhood and told us all to piss off as your parting shot!

You've had your "last word" ......you win.....and guess what you win? A one way ticket to somewhere else....and we don't care where.

Wow, after everyone manned up and settled up to have someone just act stupid like that is amazing. I feel sorry for you man for making a post like that and then leaving. Would have more respect if you had come across as someone with something to say and making a point. All you did like someone else said was pour gas on a smoldering about to be put out fire. Everything was settled, and you had to come in and make such a derogatory and asinine post for no other means than to stir the pot. You have added absolutely nothing to this thread, or even this community for that matter. Obviously CigarPass isn't for you.

TMarquis has been banned. There is ZERO tolerance for this behavior.

Like I said in my reply you do not owe me one but I do respect that you took the time to send several out aparently. regarding this whole situation souldog and mandi both seem to have stood up and accepted responsibility and for me that says a lot. So many apologies here often seem halfhearted this time I can honestly say that they seem sincere on all counts.

we all make mistakes the question is do we take something positive away from the expierence I believe this is one of those times that everyone involved has.

Many have indicated that I did not have to personally PM them, but I felt compelled to excuse myself to each member that had taken the time to respond to this discussion. I have been around here very little time and my actions created a situation that offended an older member directly and many of his fellow brethren indirectly. Furthermore, the end result of this is that my actions may have negatively affected the Newbie War, an activity that many in this forum enjoyed. Thus, I felt the need to reach out to everyone. Finally, I appreciate all the kind remarks I have received via PM by both the older and newer members. Thanks Again.

Bah.. this has all been said before. Well done to MandyPi for apologising so sincerely, yet I feel we did go too hard on him. While I am not one to appreciate toilet humour, you have to admit his intentions were (albeit misguided) good. Like I wrote: know your audience mate.
