I have been on the site for a couple months now, mostly chat since my postings were not allowed for long time up until now. I wanted to get involved in a pass, but I know that I need the backing of some vets and a good vet to start and lead the pass. I have not seen an "Open" pass for while and was wondering when the next one was or if someone would start one. Thanks
 
Part of the problem is that the weather is starting to warm up and pass season will soon grind to a halt. The last thing anyone wants is a box full of cigars travelling across the country in summer heat. If anything were to be started it would have to get off the ground asap and have the assurance of all involved that handling and turnaround time would be kept to a minimum.
 
Didn't even think about that. I think I may have missed my chance. If anybody is interested in a pass that is ASAP like Gonz said, I'm still interested. It's still in the 50's in the north. Otherwise, I will be patiently, and impatiently, waiting for next season. Thanks Gonz

I guess its only a month. Just felt like a couple. And I don't know why my posts were not allowed. It was getting frustating. They just started working this week. I was active in the chatroom, but couldn't post replies. My name is Mike, I live in Illinois. I like cigars.

While the passes may go into their cave for a summer nap, you might try the Newbie trades in the BST forum. That's always a great place to start. It gets you familiar with the shipping practices and gives us a great opportunity to get to know you better.

Thanks for all the info here. This place really does seem like a community. I have already posted on the Noob Trade and have already been contacted. alexgtp I am relatively new to Chicago, so I don't know exactly how far/where orland park is. I wouldnt mind stopping by though. Please PM with the time. I currently go to Cigary in Wilmette.

I will for sure try and come down there. My only problem is that Saturday is my day to do all my chores, and that would take 3 hours at least out of my day to head down there. Let me kow what time, and I may still come down. Always down to meet new smokers. hey buddy, sorry I couldnt make it down there today. It was my errands day and the girl didn't want me going off for the whole afternoon to leave her with everything. If you ever want to come up to the city or to wilmette, let me know and I'll provide the sticks.
